Todd Thornton

Todd Thornton is a partner in the Tax Services practice and national tax leader of PwC Canada's Transportation and Logistics practice, working in the Oakville office. In addition, Todd leads the firm's Pathfinder™ group, which provides a multidisciplinary team of professionals to assist foreign companies with their expansion into Canada.
Todd provides corporate tax advisory services to both multinational and Canadian private companies. He specializes in advising his clients on tax issues relating to cross border transactions, inbound and outbound planning, corporate reorganizations and divestitures, mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence work), research and development credits and corporate tax management and compliance.
After graduating from the University of Western Ontario in London, ON, Todd joined the firm in 1988. He earned a CA designation in 1992. Todd has completed the CICA Indepth Tax Course, as well as the CICA in-resident course on corporate reorganizations and international tax. Todd is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
