Zainab is a Partner in PwC’s Insurance Claims Advisory practice in Toronto, which is part of the firm’s national Valuations, Forensics & Disputes practice.
She is a Certified General Accountant with 15 years of experience in the quantification of damages in an insurance and litigation context. As an independent third-party, she applies her experience, insight and perspective to help clients arrive at fair settlements, either prior to or during mediation/arbitration/trial. Her work covers investigation/research, analysis and reporting for engagements ranging in size from basic local files to catastrophic multi-million dollar claims.

Zainab brings extensive experience in the calculation of business interruption losses as well as losses in the case of personal injury or fatality, including Statutory Accident Benefits, economic losses under tort, and the net present value of future care/guardianship costs and benefits. From a learning and education standpoint, Zainab develops and leads focused seminars to clients including some of Canada’s leading lawyers and insurers, and is also an expert witness in mock trials the firm organizes for plaintiff and defence counsel.
