On August 19, 2019, pursuant to an order (the “Receivership Order”) of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta in Bankruptcy and Insolvency (the “Court”), PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT (“PwC”) was appointed as receiver (the “Receiver”), without security, of all of the current and future assets, undertakings and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever, and wherever situated, including all proceeds thereof (the “Property”) of Westridge Cabinets (1993) Ltd. (the “Westridge” or the “Company”) pursuant to section 243 (1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended (the “BIA”) and section 13(2) of the Judicature Act, R.S.A. 2000, c.J-2. The Receivership Order was granted pursuant to an application made by the Bank of Montreal (the “BMO”).
A Notice and Statement of the Receiver (the “Notice”) will be mailed in accordance with the provisions of the BIA. A copy of the Notice will posted on the “Receivership Notices” section of this website.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT has made an Application for Final Distribution and Discharge as Receiver of Westridge Cabinets (1993) Ltd. and 2137956 Alberta Ltd. The application will be heard on June 23, 2022. Further information may be found in the Court Materials and Receiver's Report sections of this website.
