On July 9, 2019, Westridge Cabinets (1993) Ltd. (“Westridge” or the “Company”), filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI”) pursuant to Section 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) (“BIA”) and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT (“PwC”) was named as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee under the NOI.
On August 10, 2019, Westridge was deemed bankrupt as no proposal was filed by Westridge and PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., LIT was appointed as Licensed Insolvency Trustee of the estate of the bankrupt Company (the “Trustee”).
Notices of the bankruptcy and the first meeting of creditors, a proof of claim form and materials relating to the bankruptcy proceedings (the “Bankruptcy Notice”) will be mailed by the Trustee to all known creditors of the Company, pursuant to the provisions of the BIA. A copy of the Bankruptcy Notice and a Proof of Claim form are posted on the Bankruptcy Notices page.
The first meeting of creditors for Westridge will be held on August 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Suncor Building , Conference Centre, Main Floor, 111-5th Avenue SW, Calgary AB T2P 5L3
