The CFO Programme will complement your experience and put you on a fast track to gaining the globally trusted and highly valued Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Under this fast-track programme, hosted by PwC’s Academy, candidates will only take the Strategic Case Study exam of the CIMA qualification completion of the exam will allow direct entry to CIMA membership.
Programme flow
1. Candidate submits a detailed CV.
4. Candidate takes the Strategic Case Study exam.
2. CIMA admits the candidate into the programme.
5. Candidate files application for CIMA membership.
3. Candidate attends a comprehensive online preparatory course.
6. .AWARD – CGMA® Qualification & CIMA Membership*.
* upon passing the Strategic Case Study exam and a successful membership application
CIMA will review the CV and make assessments for both eligibility into the programme and confirmation of practical experience. The CIMA exam should be attempted within 12 months of registration with CIMA.

Overview of theories: 17 September 2024, 19 September 2024, 24 September 2024 and 26 September 2024.
Analysis of Pre-Seen and Introduction to practice section: 5 October 2024 and 12 October 2024.
Mini Mock practices:15 October 2024, 17 October 2024, 22 October 2024, and 24 October 2024.
Mock exams and discussions: 2 November 2024, 9 November 2024, and 16 November 2024.
CIMA exam in November: 20 November 2024 – 22 November 2024 (choose one date).
Exam results issued: 9 January 2025.
