Harmonising well-being and productivity through a more holistic and employee-Centric approach

well-being

As working in the Consulting industry, you need to change the narrative about what the consultant’s work is about. By understanding and having this higher purpose, they will internalise and see the importance of self-care, which will enable them to continue helping their clients.

Meet our lifelong consultant who’s been working at PwC for twenty years, Elvia. She also known as a working mom, a people person, an empowering leader, and a continuous learner. As a leader, it is important for her in driving the harmonising between well-being and productivity. By fostering supportive relationships, inclusive and flexible work environments, as well as prioritising mental health and promoting a culture that values well-being alongside productivity.

And that’s why she also encourages her team by walking the talk, which is by modeling the behavior of taking intermittent breaks, having hobbies, learning new things, or reading a book. She also emphasizes a culture of communication where she & her team can have open and honest conversations about their workload and work-life balance. And lastly, she also delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively can go a long way. By allowing team members to take ownership of their work it can empower them to make decisions productively and be happier in doing their work.
