Jakarta - PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk or ADHI is committed to completing several railway projects domestically and abroad, following the completion of the first phase of Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT). The railway projects include the construction of Jabodebek LRT, CP 201 and CP 202 of Jakarta MRT, and the railway infrastructure in Manila in the Philippines.

ADHI President Director Entus Asnawi explained that his company was committed to completing the government’s assignment to accelerate the construction of Jabodebek LRT in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 98 of 2015. The company will also continue the Jakarta MRT project and the railway infrastructure project in the Philippines that are worth trillions.

“ADHI is currently working on two other railway megaprojects, namely Jakarta MRT’s CP 201 worth Rp4.0 trillion and its CP 202 worth Rp2.8 trillion. Besides that, on a regional scale, we have been trusted to construct a railway infrastructure in Manila in the Philippines. ADHI’s portion reaches Rp3.7 trillion,” Entus said in his official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (29/8/2023).

Previously, ADHI had also completed the construction of the venue for FIBA World Cup 2023, which is Indonesia Arena in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area in Jakarta. The indoor stadium that has a contract value Rp640 billion was built in a relatively short time in 18 months by optimising the use of the building information modelling (BIM) construction technology to ensure that all stages of the construction were using a suitable construction method. So, the construction’s cost, schedule, and design are all according to plan.

Regarding the Jabodebek LRT project, ADHI has completed the construction of the first phase of Jabodebek LRT spanning 44 km, which has been inaugurated by President Joko Widodo. Entus Asnawi said that the company constructed a network that consists of three corridors, namely Harjamukti (Cibubur)-Cawang, Jatimulya (East Bekasi)-Cawang, and Cawang-Dukuh Atas, that have a total of 18 stations.

He also explained that Jabodebek LRT’s tracks were designed using the u-shaped girder technology, which is capable of muffling outside noise and dampening earthquake vibrations. Moreover, it has a slim shape to maintain the urban aesthetics.

Besides that, Jabodebek LRT operates without a driver using a Grade of Automation (GoA) 3 technology that is controlled from the operation control centre (OCC).

“ADHI’s work scope includes the construction of the structure, the railway system, the signalling system, the stations, and the depot,” Entus said.
