Jakarta - The State Asset Management Agency (LMAN) has spent a budget of Rp723.7 billion to support the development of Nusantara Capital City (IKN). The amount is divided into Rp466.1 billion for IKN’s road access and Rp257.6 billion for the central government core area.

“The Rp723 billion is divided for road access and the central government core area. The interesting thing is that [the budget] for the toll road is divided into two payment mechanisms, namely direct payment and bridging funds,” LMAN President Director Basuki Purwadi said during a press conference at LMAN’s office on Monday (28/8/2023).

In 2023, LMAN has received Rp144.46 trillion to support national strategic projects (PSNs). Out of the amount, Rp116 trillion has been used. From the amount, Rp98,103 trillion is used for toll road construction (52 PSNs), Rp12,523 trillion is used for dams (38 PSNs), Rp0.62 trillion is used for irrigation (5 PSNs), Rp0.66 trillion is used for raw water (1 PSN), Rp3,124 trillion is used for railways (9 PSNs), Rp0,800 trillion is used for ports (1 PSN), Rp0.85 trillion is used for KSPNs, and Rp0.724 trillion is used for IKN.

“Out of the Rp144.46 trillion, Rp116 trillion has been realised. It is a very large amount that is sourced from the APBN, so it is from the people for the people,” Basuki said. State asset optimisation and funding realisation for land procurement are continuously boosted to strengthen the economy, especially to improve the public’s welfare. LMAN has logged a non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of Rp2.19 trillion as of 25 August 2023. Regarding this matter, LMAN is tasked to optimise state assets and funding for land procurement to construct PSNs to support fiscal strengthening to produce real benefits for the people. “The total PNBP that has been obtained by LMAN reaches Rp2.19 trillion. I think that it is a great amount,” Basuki said.

In terms of state asset optimisation, LMAN is managing 106 state assets that provide financial benefits in the form of PNBP as well as socioeconomic benefits. The socioeconomic benefits include the amount of money saved to support government activities (with a realisation of Rp18 billion), workforce absorption, and the economic impacts on locals from asset utilisation (with a realisation of Rp14 billion).

Besides that, the mission to optimise state assets will also be realised with a cooperation among ministries/institutions, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and public service bodies (BLUs) to manage the assets through the AESIA asset utilisation platform launched by LMAN at the end of 2022. Until 25 August 2023, 355 property assets in various agencies have been registered on the AESIA platform to be optimised.
