5 August 2024
Jakarta, ID – Starting Friday, 2 August at 12am, section 2B of the Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road (Cikeas Interchange to Cibitung Junction) will begin charging toll fees after having operated for free since 10 July 2024.
“The tariff implementation is based on Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Minister Decree Number 1627/KPTS/M/2024,” PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways President Director Indar Barung said in his press statement in Jakarta on Friday (2/8/2024).
The toll fee will be determined by the vehicle class and the distance travelled, based on the entry and exit points.
Class I vehicle users traveling from Cimanggis to Cibitung will enter at Jatikarya Utama Toll Gate and pay a toll fee of Rp5,500.
The subsequent toll fees will depend on the travel distance and the road user's destination, such as Narogong Toll Gate, Burangkeng Toll Gate, Setu Utara Toll Gate, or Cibitung Toll Gate.
According to Indar, road users planning to travel on the Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road are advised to use one e-toll card per vehicle and to ensure their e-toll card has sufficient balance.
“We remind drivers to always exercise caution, follow road signs, and adhere to directions from field officers,” he stated.
