Bisnis, Jakarta – The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) ensures that it will accelerate the right to build (HGB) legalisation process for investors who invest in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), with a commitment to realising this immediately.

ATR/BPN Secretary General Suyus Windayana stated that the issuance process for HGBs will be reduced from 30 days to 11 days.

“The process must be accelerated. HGB is typically issued within 15-30 days. However, in the case of IKN, the process will be expedited to ensure certainty for investors regarding their investment in IKN,” he said on Monday (19/8).

Suyus explained that, in line with the issuance of Presidential Decree Number 25/2024 on Task Force for Investment Acceleration, the legalisation process for land use in IKN is expected to be continuously accelerated.

Currently, ATR/BPN acknowledges that they have prepared technical instructions regarding the accelerated issuance of HGB for investors in IKN.

“We have issued several certificates in IKN. Hopefully, with the regulations and technical instructions already prepared, we can expedite the process in IKN,” he stated.

Previously, President Joko Widodo promised investors in IKN that the legalisation of land use in the form of HGB would be issued within 11 days from the signing of the cooperation agreement.

“If you invest in IKN, the process from the signing of the cooperation agreement is swift. After the signing, BPN will issue HGB within a maximum of 11 days. So, it is very quick,” he said during the groundbreaking of PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA) office on Monday (12/8).

To date, 55 investors have invested in IKN across various sectors, including education, health, banking, and technology, with a total investment of Rp56.2 trillion.
