Jakarta, ID – The Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry is starting the tender for Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Government Infrastructure Project II that has a total construction package value of Rp1.7 trillion.

Based on the official page of the electronic procurement service system (LPSE) of the PUPR Ministry on Friday (29/12/2023), the budget for the construction of the project is provided from the 2024 State Budget (APBN).

The tender is open for projects in IKN Government Infrastructure Project II that consist of the Vice President’s Palace, the Vice President’s Office, the Vice President Secretariat Office, the Vice President’s residence, other supporting buildings, and area organisation.

The location of IKN Government Infrastructure Project II is in IKN, North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan. Specifically, the location of the construction is in the West Residence area in governance zone SUB BWP 1A.

The area shares border with the Community and Riparian Park in the north, the International Organisation Office in the east, the Botanical Garden in the south, and the Ministerial Housing in the west. The total size of the project reaches 141,121 m2.

Meanwhile, the prequalification announcement will be made around 29 December 2023 to 5 January 2024. Then, the tender winner announcement will be made on 12 March 2024. At the time of writing, there are 3 participants that have participated in the tender.

“The implementation duration of IKN Government Infrastructure Project II is 450 calendar days from the signing of the work start order (SPMK) and the provisional handover (PHO),” the document states.

The construction plan will refer to the basic design document of IKN Government Infrastructure Project II. The planning process must follow the technical conditions/standards and the administrative requirements for buildings from the PUPR Ministry. Moreover, it also has to accommodate people with disabilities.
