25 June 2024
Jakarta, ID – The airline Pelita Air is tapping AirNav Indonesia to develop Pondok cabe Airport in South Tangerang.
Both parties have signed a cooperation agreement for implementing flight navigation services at Pondok Cabe Airport. This agreement is due to Pelita Air being the operator of Pondok Cabe Airport.
The agreement was signed by Pelita Air Commerce Director Asa Perkasa and AirNav Indonesia Operations Director Riza Fahmi at the arrival terminal of Pondok Cabe Airport in South Tangerang some time ago.
Pelita Air Commerce Director Asa Perkasa stated that the agreement signing represented the synergy and commitment between Pelita Air and AirNav Indonesia to support aviation safety and security, ultimately enhancing service quality for passengers.
Asa Perkasa continued that the cooperation was established in line with the development of Pondok Cabe Airport into a specialised facility handling private jets, charter flights, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), warehousing, and other business services.
“Through this cooperation, Pondok Cabe Airport is expected to meet the government’s conditions regarding airports. Additionally, the scope of the cooperation is also anticipated to expand,” Asa Perkasa said in his statement on Monday (26/6/2024).
Meanwhile, AirNav Indonesia Operations Director Riza Fahmi added that the cooperation scope included meeting flight navigation service standards, implementing these services, and ensuring compliance with flight navigation regulations at Pondok Cabe Airport.
