Bisnis Indonesia - Tren kendaraan listrik: Jasa Marga tambah SPKLU

13 March 2023

Jakarta - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is preparing five electric vehicle public charging stations (SPKLUs) along Trans-Java Toll Road to anticipate the electric vehicle trend during Eid homecoming in 2023.

PT Jasamarga Related Business President Director Dian Takdir explained that the SPKLUs are scattered along Trans-Java Toll Road.

The SPKLUs are located at Rest Area Travoy 207A Palikanci, Rest Area Travoy 379A Batang-Semarang, Rest Area Travoy 389B Batang-Semarang, Rest Area Travoy 519A Solo-Ngawi, and Rest Area Travoy 519B Solo-Ngawi.

“Approaching Eid 1444 H homecoming, Jasa Marga is preparing SPKLUs at rest areas to be managed by Jasa Marga subsidiaries,” he said to Bisnis recently.

PT PLN (Persero) President Director Darmawan Prasodjo explained that PLN has provided 1,000 electric vehicle public battery swapping stations (SPBKLUs), 6,700 public charging stations (SPLUs), and 600 SPKLUs.

“We have made sure that there are SPKLUs at every rest area, and we are installing more in due time. On non-toll roads, we have mapped them out. So, in the future, people can charge on toll roads or non-toll roads,” Darmawan said recently.

He affirmed that PLN has checked and conducted a trial run during homecoming in 2022 by using electric vehicles.

According to him, the three charging infrastructures are already available in Jakarta, Cirebon, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Banyuwangi, and Bali.

Besides that, SPKLUs are available at rest areas on Cipali toll road, Palimanan-Kanci toll road (Cirebon-Semarang), Batang-Semarang toll road, Semarang-Solo toll road, Sragen-Surabaya toll road, and all other segments of Trans-Java Toll Road to Bali that are guaranteed to be safe.

“For SPBKLUs, we are cooperating with other manufacturers so that they can be available in Sumatra, Sulawesi, and all over Indonesia,” he stated.

Besides that, he explained that the 1,000 SPBKLUs will realise a more efficient electric vehicle ecosystem.

SPBKLUs are built to swap batteries in 2 to 3 minutes.
