Investor Daily - KCIC kolaborasi integrasi KCJB dengan berbagai moda di Stasiun Halim

27 March 2023

Jakarta - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is boosting their collaborations with various parties to improve intermodal accessibility, connectivity, and integration through the integration of Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway (KCJB), Jabodebek LRT, TransJakarta BRT, and regular shuttle buses at Halim Station in East Jakarta. The collaborations are established with Jakarta Provincial Government, other government institutions, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and private parties.

KCIC Corporate Secretary General Manager Rahadian Ratry said that accessibility to and from Halim Station was the basic aspect for attracting passengers and visitors.

“Halim Station’s area is a multi-use commercial area that does not only sustain the needs of KCJB passengers, but it also accommodates various urban lifestyles so that the area becomes a melting pot for urban life,” Rahadian said in his explanation on Saturday (25/3/2023).

He said that other important aspects in urban rapid transit culture were connectivity to various routes and integration of various modes of transportation.

“We are carrying out everything with mature consideration and prime comfort. Every ease and comfort in this modern transit area is a prime service from KCIC for visitors at Halim Station and KCJB passengers,” he stated.

He said that Halim KCJB Station would be directly connected to Jabodebek LRT, BRT, non-BRT, and shuttles via the highway to DI Panjaitan CBD and via Cikampek toll road.

“The alternative accesses will facilitate the people who want to travel by KCJB,” Rahadian said.

He revealed that the KCJB station and the LRT station were connected with a skybridge that is comfortable, air conditioned, and fitted with retail outlets to fulfil the needs of passengers.

“Integration with Jabodebek LRT facilitates KCJB passengers who want to continue their last-mile travel to Bekasi, Kuningan CBD in Rasuna Said, or Dukuh Atas in Sudirman,” he said.

According to him, besides physical integration and comfort, KCJB’s 20-minute headway will be complemented by Jabodebek LRT’s 6-minute headway.

Excellent scheduling of the two modes of transportation promises reliable and predictable time management, which is the trademark of urban modern mobility.

Besides that, he continued that Halim Station would be connected to TransJakarta BRT and regular shuttle buses to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Soekarno-Hatta Airport. BRT, non-BRT, and shuttles at Halim Station add more transit alternatives to various locations that have not been reached by Jabodebek LRT.

Public and private vehicles will also enter Halim Station through a road extension from DI Panjaitan that was previously a dead end.

“KCIC wants to thank Jakarta Provincial Government, the Defence Ministry, Perum PPD, and all other stakeholders for their support in providing a road to the station that can be easily accessed by the people.”

Another road access will be available at the toll road exit gate at KM1+850 of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road. The construction of the toll road exit gate is currently being carried out by the Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry, the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), and Jasa Marga.

He said that other important aspects in urban rapid transit culture are connectivity to various routes and integration of various modes of transportation.
