Jakarta - The Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry is accelerating the completion of two toll road projects that are included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) list.

The two projects are Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap (Getaci) toll road and Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocomi) toll road.

Infrastructure Financing Director General of the PUPR Ministry Herry Trisaputra Zuna explained that the continuity of the construction of Getaci toll road and Bocimi toll road was still a priority.

“[The PSNs] are expected to not be revised. If they are revised, they will not be competed. Where will the lands come from? There will be more issues,” he said to Bisnis on Monday (29/5).

In Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Regulation No. 9/2022, Getaci toll road and Bocimi toll road are still PSNs.

Deputy for Coordination of Regional Development and Spatial Planning of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Wahyu Utomo added that he was still studying the continuity of both projects as PSNs.

“We have not talked about taking them out of the PSN [list]. It will still be discussed,” Wahyu said.

Based on the data from the State Asset Management Agency, the land acquisition process of Getaci toll road is still funded by the government, while Bocimi toll road is not on the list.

Funding allocation for the land procurement of PSNs from 2016 to 2022 was Rp134,466 trillion. Until 17 February 2023, funding for the land procurement of 106 PSNs reached 106.950 trillion for 167,772 land plots of 274,151,425 m2.

For toll road projects, the government is allocating Rp111.65 trillion for 55 PSNs with Rp90.99 trillion for 52 PSNs for 115,728 land plots of 156 million square metres.

Herry also stated that the PUPR Ministry would retender Getaci toll road project in the third quarter of 2023.

Currently, he said that he just received the retender document for Getaci toll road that was previously terminated.

Herry said that he was currently studying the scope of the project that would be retendered. “We just received it. We will complete the study in around one month, then we will deliver it to BPJT to be tendered. It can be tendered in the third quarter,” Herry said.
