PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) obtains new contracts worth Rp581 billion for the development of Wahidin Sudirohusodo Government General Hospital (RSWS) in Makassar and Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) in Bandung.

ADHI Director of Operations 2 Pundjung Setya Brata revealed that the company won the contract to construct RSWS worth Rp429.8 billion. The project will be fully carried out by ADHI. Meanwhile, the RSHS project worth Rp336.2 billion will be constructed through a joint operation between PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) and ADHI with the portion divided 55% and 45% respectively.

“Both hospital projects will be funded by the budget from Islamic Development bank (IDB) from 2022 to 2024 (multiyear),” Setya said in his official statement on Thursday (10/11/2022).

Setya explained that, in both projects, ADHI will construct new buildings as supporting facilities in the form of mother and child healthcare service centres. The buildings will consist of 8 floors and one basement, and it will be constructed in 20-24 months.

“Both projects are ADHI’s achievement to improve healthcare facilities in regions,” he explained.

Setya said that the projects increased ADHI’s new contract realisation this year. Until September 2022, ADHI’s new contracts have reached Rp18.1 trillion, which includes three projects from the new capital (IKN) worth Rp1.1 trillion. Meanwhile, the remaining projects include Yogyakarta-Bawen toll road, Jakarta MRT Phase 2A CP202, Jenelata-Gowa Dam, and Semarang-Demak toll road.

Moreover, until the ninth month in 2022, the state-owned construction issuer has logged a revenue of Rp9.13 trillion, which increased by 24.25% from Rp7.35 trillion last year. The total revenue is contributed by the company’s four business lines, namely engineering and construction, property and hospitality, manufacturing, as well as investment and concession.
