PT Presisi Tbk (PPRE) is commencing the groundbreaking of the construction of the facilities and infrastructure of Ukurlaran Fishery Port in Saumlaki SKPT worth Rp111 billion. In this project, the company is establishing a joint venture with PT Permata Anugerah Yalapersada.

PP Presisi Director of Operations Darwis Hamzah said that the project is set to be completed in 150 days or in early 2024. PP Presisi’s work scope includes the construction of facilities and infrastructure starting from the pier, integrated cold storage, ice factory, roads and areas, as well as other port supporting facilities.

“The construction of the facilities and infrastructure of Ukurlaran Fishery Port in Saumlaku SKPT is the government’s step to increase the potential of marine resources and fisheries in Indonesia. This port can increase the quality of sea products that can drive the maritime economy in Indonesia in an integrated manner, which provides added value for the people, especially citizens in Tanimbar Regency,” he explained in a written statement on Monday (14/11/22).

The groundbreaking was attended Acting Tanimbar Islands Regent Daniel Indey, Fishery Port Director Tri Aris Wibowo, Japan International Cooperation Agency Senior Representative Okamura, Tanimbar Islands Precinct Police Head Umar Wijaya, Saumlaki TNI Air Force Commander Yohanes M. Paulusm Saumlaki TNI Navy Commander Andri Kristianto, Saumlaki Military District Commander Didik Teguh Waluyo, as well as PT PP Presisi Operations Director Darwis Hamzah.

Darwis added that the company is optimistic about the cooperation with Yalapersada and PP Presisi’s engineering capacity and experiences in constructing national strategic projects, such as the construction piers, airports, and buildings. “Hence, we, as the main contractor and the sub-contractor, hope that the main entity can complete the construction by prioritising quality and timely delivery that can provide added value for stakeholders,” he said.

Until the third quarter of 2022, PP Presisi successfully continued their positive performance by logging a net profit of Rp144.5 billion, which surged by 34.5% from Rp107.4 billion last year.

PP Presisi (PPRE) Finance and Manrisk Director Arif Iswahyudi said that the net profit increase is in line with the increase in the company’s revenue that increased by 40.1% to Rp2.6 trillion. During the same period last year, the company obtained a revenue of Rp1.8 trillion.

Arif explained that the company’s revenue growth is mostly contributed by infrastructure projects and mining services that contribute by 63.5% and 27.3% respectively. This positive result is in line with the company’s business focus on both the civil work and mining service business lines. “Meanwhile, from the supporting business lines, namely structure work, production plant, and rental equipment, the total revenue contribution is 9.2%,” he said.

The projects handled by the company until the third quarter of 2022 include CInere-Jagorawi toll road, Indrapura-Kisaran, Empunala road revitalisation, Kediri airport project, Halim airport revitalisation, and Cisumdawu toll road project.
