At PwC, we’ve set out an ambitious purpose and strive to live it everyday: to solve important problems and build trust in society. We draw insights from our tech-powered network and global capabilities, working together to make a difference in our communities. Our efforts in giving back to our region are two fold: humanitarian support and social change, as well as building better skills for society.
We recognise that our greatest asset is our people. With their skills, talent and knowledge we are able to work with NGOs, social and micro enterprises, and other organisations to build capacity and trust within communities and help the people within them develop skills they need to thrive.
We collaborate with those who share our vision of the future and want to be a part of creating meaningful change in the world. Together we can build trust and deliver sustained outcomes. Are you ready to create purposeful impact? Join us!
Collaborating with various non-profit organisations focused on providing STEM education in the Middle East, allowed us to launch a unique programme to digitally upskill refugees in the region.
This initiative supports the students in gaining digital skills for better employment opportunities and growth. Given it’s great success, we continue to expand the programme for wider reach and impact.
With a dedication to female empowerment and equal opportunities, we run multiple initiatives aimed at supporting women with their career ambitions and development.
Our offerings are expansive, from mentoring professional women to restart their career following maternity leave, to upskilling aspiring Arab female entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and business acumen, to providing knowledge and nurturing environment for their career success.
To deliver what is needed, we leverage the expertise and knowledge of our colleagues through collaboration with our Inclusion and Diversity, Advisory, Human Capital, Tech team and the PwC Academy.
Established by junior consultant leveraging their experiences to do good, our Student Mentorship Programme aims to bridge the gap between Academia and professional life.
Connecting university students with experienced PwC leaders and professional courses has inspired them to reach their full potential and enhance their professional and personal capabilities.
Driven by our passion to create positive impact and guided by our core values, PwC volunteers unite across our 12 territories each year to support the underprivileged.
Our initiatives range from running various fundraisers and the distribution of clothing, housing and food items, to visiting and organising activities at orphanages, elderly homes, and hospitals, to name a few.
Additionally, we have allocated a dedicated One Firm Impact Day for collective contributions across the region.
In line with our commitment to support the refugees and marginalized populations, we have collaborated with different local NGOs and international organizations to address important issues such as healthcare access, education, and community empowerment.
The initiatives aim to create positive impact and contribute to the wellbeing and development of those in need.
With the support of the PwC Middle East leadership team, we have been able to double down on our financial commitment to deliver pro bono engagements.
By applying our skills, knowledge and expertise, we are able to deliver our PwC services to organisations in need, further supporting and positively impacting our communities and environment.
We are proud to be fostering significant change in the region by supporting organisations committed to making an impact on our environment and communities.
