There is nothing like it.

Yet, nature is declining at historic rates.

And the reasons why are adding up at alarming speed.

The foundations we’ve built our lives and economies on are being eroded.

Here in the Middle East, our region’s collective economy has grown 90 fold over the last five decades , but over a third of our wildlife populations have been lost

Almost half the region’s GDP is moderately or highly dependent on nature.

So system-wide change is urgently needed.

Our societies depend on nature.

Our economies depend on nature.

We all depend on nature.

There’s too much at stake to fail and so many opportunities to do better together.
