11 December 2024

Jakarta, ID – To commemorate International Anti-Corruption Day on 9 December, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) reaffirmed its commitment to being part of the collective effort to combat corruption, aiming to achieve a progressive, clean, and integrated Indonesia.

ASDP President Director Heru Widodo stated that synergy across different sectors is a crucial factor in creating an advanced, clean, and integrated ecosystem.

"Corruption is the main obstacle to national development and progress. As a state-owned enterprise (SOE), we have moral and professional responsibilities to be a model of transparency and integrity in each of our business processes," Heru stated in his press release in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/12/2024).

Furthermore, Heru mentioned that the company is continuously strengthening its Good Corporate Governance (GCG), supported by digital transformation, which serves as the backbone for creating more transparent and accountable business processes.

Through digital transformation, Heru continued, the company ensures that each operation can be audited, providing comfort and trust to all parties, including customers and business partners.

"The solutions include a non-cash payment system, online ticket purchases, and technology-based supervision at ports. We are also committed to raising awareness about the dangers of corruption through social campaigns and activities," Heru stated.

In addition, all elements within ASDP are responsible for setting a real-world example by performing their duties and obligations in an integrated manner.

"We will ensure that each anti-corruption policy implemented by the company is regularly evaluated and reported," he added.
