Bisnis, Jakarta – Several state-owned issuers in the construction sector state that they are interested in joining the Demak-Tuban toll road project.

For example, PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) will participate in the tender for the construction of Demak-Tuban toll road.

WSKT Corporate Secretary SVP Ermy Puspa Yunita said that, in general, her company would participate in the tender for the construction of Demak-Tuban toll road.

However, Ermy cannot reveal the construction tender value.

“The construction tender has yet to be held. So, we do not know the value,” Ermy said to Bisnis on Sunday (5/2).

However, she added that Demak-Tuban toll road was not in the investment plan of WSKT nor Waskita Tol Road, which is its subsidiary. According to her, Waskita group will currently focus on establishing strategic partnerships and completing ongoing projects.

Meanwhile, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) Corporate Secretary SVP said that his company was currently focused on pursuing several toll road projects in Greater Jakarta. Besides that, ADHI is focused on constructing Solo-Yogyakarta toll road.

“Until now, we are still studying the potential of Demak-Tuban toll road,” he said to Bisnis on Sunday (5/2).

On the other hand, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has yet to participate in the tender for Demak-Tuban toll road. The company is still focused on constructing Semarang-Demak toll road.

PTPP Corporate Secretary Bakhtiyar Effendi said that his company would still focus on improving the performance of Semarang-Demak toll road in Central Java. Besides that, PTPP will focus on streamlining existing projects.

“PP is still focused on improving the performance of Semarang-Demak toll road and streamlining their existing portfolio, so they have yet to be able to participate in the tender,” he said on Sunday (5/2).
