Investor Daily - Lima investor tanam investasi Rp2,42 triliun di IKN

20 March 2025

Jakarta, ID – The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is ready to assist in processing land certificates for five investors who have invested Rp2.42 trillion in Nusantara, the capital city of Indonesia, located in Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

"Five investors have signed agreements for land utilisation under the control of OIKN and notarial deeds," said OIKN Head Basuki Hadimuljono after attending the signing of the land utilisation agreement and allocation of assets under control of the OIKN and notarial deeds at the City Hall of the Nusantara Capital Authority Office on Tuesday (18/03/2025).

The five investors are PT Citadel Group Indonesia, a foreign investment focused on developing lifestyle centres; PT Berkat Kalimantan Abadi, which is building food and beverage centres; PT Perintis Pondasi Teknotama, which will construct offices, showrooms, and infrastructure for public electric vehicle charging stations.

Additionally, PT Perintis Power Investment will establish a mixed-use area, and PT Sentra Unggul Nusantara will develop a commercial area. The total investment value from these five investors amounts to Rp2.42 trillion.

"This agreement has legal force regarding land rights. Once the investors sign, the OIKN will assist in processing the certificates, allowing them to start construction immediately. With these certificates, investors can begin development to complement the ecosystem in Nusantara," explained Basuki.

This agenda marks the first signing of the land utilisation agreement and allocation of land assets under control at the OIKN Office. The signing of this agreement is a significant milestone in providing legal certainty for business actors and establishing the rights and obligations of each party.

"Since March, civil servants have started moving to Nusantara and serving from the City Hall of the OIKN Office. This is the first time investors have signed this agreement in Nusantara," said Basuki.

On this occasion, Deputy for Funding and Investment of the OIKN, Agung Wicaksono, added that with the first signing of the cooperation agreement at the Nusantara City Hall, investors can directly see and experience the atmosphere of Nusantara.

"The backdrop is Plaza Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, formerly the Zero Point of Nusantara, which looks like a postcard when photographed. Investors can stay at Swissotel Nusantara, a pioneer investor's creation, and experience living in Nusantara with its fresh and clean air. Hopefully, more investors will come to Nusantara to sign cooperation agreements and participate in building the capital city," hoped Agung.

Furthermore, according to Agung, this step aligns with President Prabowo Subianto's directive emphasising the importance of private sector involvement in infrastructure development, particularly in Nusantara, as stipulated in Minister of National Development Planning Regulation No. 6/2022.

"With this agreement, the OIKN demonstrates its commitment to accelerating infrastructure development and supporting facilities in the new capital. This is part of the grand vision to make Nusantara a centre of government and a modern, sustainable city," concluded Agung.
