Jakarta – The government appoints former Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Baparekraf) Chairperson, Triawan Munaf, as the president commissioner of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia that will be part of the tourism and support SOE (State-owned Enterprise) holding. This holding will include several SOEs in the tourism sector, such as PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero) or INA, PT Sarinah (Persero), PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) or TWC, PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero), and PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero).

“The holding has been established. The announcement was made this morning. As the holding members and the board of commissioners and directors are busy, the follow-up coordination meeting will be held next week,” Triawan said on Monday (4/10).

Triawan revealed that his appointment as the commissioner and the appointment of other board members were only announced on Monday morning and had been effective from yesterday. In the board of commissioners and directors of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia, Triawan Munaf will act as the president commissioner and an independent commissioner with Odo Munuhutu, Wihana Kirana Kaya as commissioners and Elwin Mok as independent commissioner.

Next, Dony Oskaria will be the president director, accompanied by Edwin Hidayat Abdullah as the deputy president director, and Herdy Rosadi Harman as the director. According to Triawan, a legal basis in the form of a Presidential Regulation regarding the holding establishment is still in the State Secretariat and is waiting to be signed by President Joko Widodo. The legality of the regulation is only a matter of time as the President is still on a visit to Papua to attend PON XX.
