Our actuaries work with uncertainty and as a Trainee Actuary, you'll help our clients analyse how future events could affect them. Using our risk and analytical skills and predictive insights, we calculate the impact of changing demographics or legislation on pension schemes or the effects that changes in financial markets have on different organisations.

Find out more about the skills we look for and the PwC Professional.
We're powered by our people. To help understand what it means to work here our people have shared their stories in their own words.
"My time in PwC’s Actuarial Services practice has honestly flown by, and from my first day in the office it’s safe to say that the learning curve you experience is exponential. I’ve already witnessed a vast variety of client work, exposure you would struggle to get when working in UK branches of the business and a real positive to being located on the Isle of Man.
The exam and study support is exceptional. I have had constant support from all of my colleagues whenever I’ve needed it, and the study material has great relevance to our everyday work. All in all, PwC is a fantastic place to work."
