Kotaro Fujino joined PwC Tax Japan in 2004. He is an experienced international tax professional covering financial services and fund clients. He has broad experience with transaction and M&A related projects such as tax structuring and tax due diligence. He has also been involved in tax advisory services related to investments by financial institutions and financial products.
During his career, Kotaro was seconded to Japan’s Financial Services Agency for two years to assist with tax reform proposals, to a Japanese mega banking group for two years to work on the company’s taxation issues and the London office of PwC UK for two years to assist with international tax issues for Japanese and UK clients.
