Thomas (Tom) Heaton joined the Osaka office of PwC Tax Japan in 2017 and is a manager in the transfer pricing consulting group.
He has considerable experience in supporting both outbound Japanese and inbound clients in establishing transfer pricing policies, preparing base erosion and profit sharing (BEPS) documentation, acquiring unilateral and bilateral advance pricing agreements (APAs), mutual agreement procedures (MAP), dispute resolution, transfer pricing due diligence and other projects.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in oriental studies from the University of Oxford and is fluent in Japanese. He is currently on secondment to PwC the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
