Profile
Tomoki Hano is a tax partner in International Tax Services at PwC Tax Japan.
He joined PwC Tax Japan in 2006 after first gaining assurance services experience at a major auditing firm. Throughout his time with PwC, Tomoki has been engaged in tax compliance services and tax consulting services for both domestic and multinational clients.
From 2012 to 2014, he was seconded to PwC US’s McLean office (in Virginia) where he provided tax compliance services to US domestic clients.
He has significant experience in providing Japanese corporate tax advice in the areas of corporate reorganisation, international tax matters on cross-border transactions, M&A transactions, tax structuring and other general corporate taxation.
He also works on outbound projects for domestic clients and inbound projects for multinational clients in coordination with overseas PwC member firms.
