Michio Ikeda joined PwC Advisory Co., Ltd. (now PwC Advisory LLC) after working at a major financial institution. He currently leads the real estate and hospitality sectors.
During his more than 20 years in the advisory business, he has been involved in various support services such as new entry strategies, M&A, group restructuring, structural reform support, sophistication of business management, PMI (post-merger integration) and more. In recent years, he has focussed on support for zero carbon and decarbonisation initiatives as well as advisory services related to development and effective utilisation of real estate.
He was previously seconded to PwC Singapore and has experience in overseas expansion (strategy, M&A and PMI) for Japanese companies.
