Noriyasu Iwata is a partner of the International and M&A Tax Group of PwC Tax Japan.
Noriyasu joined the firm in 2010. Since then, he has been working in the Transaction/M&A services group for cross-border transactions, including M&A deals where Japanese multinational corporations acquired foreign corporations and vice versa.
From June 2015 to March 2018, Noriyasu had been on a secondment to Japan Business Network in Duesseldorf at PwC Germany, supporting Japanese corporations contemplating M&A transactions in Germany, cross-border reorganisation and/or restructuring, facing cross-border VAT issues and various European tax issues.
Noriyasu is registered as a Certified Public Tax Accountant in Japan and he speaks English fluently.
