Profile
Mr. Kato joined PwC Tax Japan in 1997, and has almost 20 years of tax experience including working in the PwC US San Diego office from 1997 to 2000. He provides tax services to clients in a wide range of industries such as apparel, commodity distribution, music, telecommunications, electronics, chemical, advertisement, minerals, trading and entertainment companies.
Mr. Kato is a licensed Japanese certified public tax consultant.
Project Results and Achievements
Mr. Kato provides advice on Japanese CFC rules, structuring, due diligence work, mergers and acquisitions, and international and local tax reviews, as well as investment advice for both inbound and outbound.
Mr. Kato also spends a significant amount of his time helping non-Japanese headquartered companies with their initial companies in Japan, as well as start-up companies and joint ventures in Japan.
