After working for a trading house in Japan and the US, Shinichiro Matsuoka worked at a strategy consulting firm and a private equity firm before joining PwC Advisory LLC.
Shinichiro’s experience includes engagement in vision development, strategy formulation, alliances, M&A, and organisational reforms in a variety of industries from the perspective of combining strategy and finance.
At the private equity firm, he was appointed director in charge of corporate planning and administration following an investment in a major live entertainment company, and led structural reforms to coincide with the formulation of the medium-term management plan.
At PwC Advisory, Shinichiro belongs to both the Deals Strategy division and the Value Creation Office, where he enhances business opportunities by strategically integrating PwC's various functions, including sustainability and digital functions, to provide our services in collaboration with the PwC global network.
