Howard has over 20 years' experience in transfer pricing with substantial work experience in the US (PwC LLP for over 10 years) and Japan (PwC Tax Japan for over 10 years) prior to moving to Singapore. He also led the customs and trade practice of PwC Tax Japan for five years from 2014 through 2018. Howard provides services to companies in a variety of industries, with a focus on controversy (audit defense, advance pricing agreements, mutual agreement procedure); TPD (transfer pricing documentation) and compliance; value chain analysis and business restructuring; supply chain planning; and customs and trade matters. Prior to joining PwC Singapore, Howard also served as a member of the Global Transfer Pricing Controversy leadership team at another major professional services firm, representing APAC and Japan, while also supporting a number of foreign companies operating in Japan.
