Yoshitaka is a Director in the M&A Advisory practice of PwC India. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Co., Ltd. (later renamed as PwC Advisory LLC) in 2015 and has over 13 years of experience in M&A advisory services. In January 2024, he was seconded to PwC India, where he is currently responsible for the origination and execution of M&A transactions for Japanese companies in India across various industries.
Prior to his assignment in India, he worked on numerous projects in the energy and technology, media and telecom (TMT) sectors. His experience includes handling acquisitions and divestitures, fund structuring, fundraising and securitisation in the renewable energy sector, divestment of data centre assets, establishment and dissolution of joint ventures, as well as business succession projects.
Before joining the firm, he worked for Mitsui Sumitomo Trust Bank (formerly Sumitomo Trust Bank) for 10 years. In addition to his expertise in M&A advisory services, he has experience in establishing cross-border M&A teams, corporate sales for major and mid-sized domestic clients, and real estate-related financing.
