Hideki Shiota has been engaged in accounting audit and internal control support services for listed and multinational companies since 2004. In 2010, he was transferred to Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers (currently PwC Tax Japan).
From September 2014 through August 2017, he was seconded to PwC UK’s London office, where he provided tax consulting services related to investment in Europe by Japanese companies and to Brexit, as well as reorganisation support services, mainly to Japanese clients.
Now he provides international tax consulting, M&A tax and tax governance development services for Japanese clients.
He is also a core member of the Digital Economy Taxation Support team and has a wealth of experience providing services related to the Global Anti-Base Erosion Model Rules (Pillar Two).
