Shoichi Shigeyama started his career with a Japanese mega-bank in 1996 where he was engaged in large-scale bad loan workouts and corporate revitalization support for a large portion of the first 10 years. He worked for a PE fund, prior to joining PwC in September 2009.
At PwC, Shoichi has consistently been engaged in a wide range of business recovery and restructuring projects at BRS, playing a key role in advising clients on their decision-making, while supporting the development and successful execution of their restructuring plan. During the latest four years, He was involved in the project of a certain globally-listed company, supervising numerical aspects of the engagement tasks for formulating a revitalization plan to support the client and its legal counsel during the civil rehabilitation procedures in Japan.
Most recently, Shoichi acts as one of the core members for BRS’s Crisis Management Support Services, and is leading PwC Japan for advisory services to clients undergoing or with the potential to apply for legal proceedings.
