Detailed Profile
Takashi Hara is a tax partner in International Tax Service / M&A Tax Group which is dedicated to providing M&A-related tax advisory services at PwC Tax Japan.
Takashi joined PwC Tax Japan in 2002 where he was engaged in financial/M&A taxation, after starting his professional career at a Japanese commercial bank in 1998. From 2006, he gained his financial advisory experience at a European Investment Bank in Tokyo. He joined another Big4 tax practice in London in 2008, serving European operations of Japanese multinationals in the areas of M&A tax and cross border reorganizations. He was further transferred to the M&A tax group located in Tokyo. In 2015, Takashi returned to PwC Tax Japan.
Takashi holds BA in Law from Keio University and Master of International Taxation from London School of Economics and Political Science (“LSE”). He is a Japanese Certified Public Accountant, Licensed Tax Accountant (Zeirishi) and UK Chartered Tax Adviser.
