Summary of professional experience
Ryo Yamauchi is a tax partner of PwC Tax Japan with more than 18 years of extensive experience in Japanese taxation including individual income tax and gift and inheritance tax.
Since joining PwC Tax Japan in 2005, he has been involved in providing domestic corporate tax compliance, corporate tax restructuring, tax due diligence and international tax planning services for outbound investment to Japanese companies.
From March 2017 to August 2019, he was seconded to PwC Singapore, where he primarily assisted Japanese clients in their tax-related matters and new investments into Singapore and the ASEAN region in collaboration with the Japan Business Network.
He is currently with the Private Business Service team at PwC Tax Japan and is primarily engaged in comprehensive tax consultancy services for family-owned private companies, medium and large-sized listed corporations, company owners and high net worth individuals.
