Japan 2023 Tax Reform Proposals: Pillar 2 update
On December 16, 2022, the ruling parties in Japan released their 2023 Tax Reform Proposals. The proposals include a legislative outline to implement a global minimum corporate tax based on the Global Anti-Base Erosion Model Rules (“Pillar Two”) published by the OECD.
