We will also enhance collaboration with various partner companies and connections with diverse people through new ways of working. As part of these efforts, we will, not only as PwC alone but also with our partners, make positive contributions to our clients as well as to our communities by implementing wide-ranging, progressive initiatives to build trust and grow sustainably.”
Koichiro Kimura, PwC Japan Group Chair, said:
“The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically brought social changes to the fore. Global situations have also become increasingly complex as a result of rising geopolitical tensions as well as disputes and armed conflicts in various parts of the world. Given these circumstances, we are required to address and deal with a wide range of issues, including digital transformation, climate change and the protection of human rights, all at the same time. At PwC Japan, we will do everything in our power to successfully overcome these challenges and build trust in society. We take these initiatives very seriously. We have tripled the size of our organisation over the past eight years. We are truly grateful to our clients and our many other stakeholders for the tremendous support they have given us as we have pursued our initiatives. Without their support, none of this would be possible. At PwC Japan, we remain committed to doing our utmost to solve important problems facing our clients and society and to earn their trust by ensuring that our professional staff with diverse knowledge and experience make concerted efforts to create enhanced value.”
The management teams of PwC Japan, as well as its main member firms from the fiscal year commencing on 1 July 2024, will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
With the PwC’s Purpose, “to build trust in society and solve important problems”, PwC Japan Group will remain as committed as ever to diligently addressing the challenges facing our clients and providing high quality services. We strive to be a professional service firm that will be valued by our society and clients for years to come.
