PwC Japan Group
21 September 2022
Tokyo, Japan, 21 September 2022 - The PwC Japan Group (chair: Koichiro Kimura; hereinafter ‘PwC Japan’) is pleased to announce that we will serve as a special sponsor for K-BALLET Opto, a new project launched by K-BALLET Inc. (representative: Tetsuya Kumakawa).
Our purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems, and in times of increasing uncertainty and opacity, we are committed to constantly considering the needs of society and addressing social problems.
K-BALLET Opto is a new project of the K-BALLET COMPANY led by celebrated Japanese ballet dancer Tetsuya Kumakawa. As their name, ‘Opto’ indicates, K-BALLET Opto seeks to create a ‘new vision’ through original works by young and energetic choreographers and combinations of classical ballet with other genres that capture the appeal of dance from multiple perspectives, providing an intense live experience for many people. The project also aims to raise issues in contemporary society through art, making artistic contributions by creating global content originating in Japan, and discover and produce young talent.
We have decided to become a special sponsor of K-BALLET Opto mainly because their efforts to address social issues through art are in line with our purpose and goals.
The following performances are scheduled for the near future (both to be held at the Kanagawa Arts Theatre Hall).
