PricewaterhouseCoopers Kyoto (HQ: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto) has recently appointed Keiichiro Kagi as its new managing partner.
Kagi, who is currently a partner at the same firm, will formally assume the position as of 1 March 2023

Keiichiro Kagi has experience primarily in financial audits, support for compliance with global internal control standards (the US Sarbanes–Oxley Act [SOX]) and introduction of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) for global companies listed in the US and major Japanese listed companies.
He is a member of the Kyoto Association of Corporate Executives and the International Accounting Personnel Network.
