The past year has been one of unprecedented challenges, yet amidst the adversity, we have witnessed the resilience and adaptability of our people and the communities we serve. In the face of global and regional conflicts, we came together to support one another and to do our part for our region.
Corporate sustainability is at the heart of our organisation, guiding our actions and decisions. In 2024, we significantly expanded our impact, reaching over 33,000 people across the region through educational, humanitarian and environmental initiatives. This achievement reflects the dedication of our people, who volunteered in record numbers, contributing nearly three times the hours compared to the previous year.
This report showcases the transformative power of collaboration and volunteerism in driving meaningful change. It highlights our efforts to navigate the rapid transformations reshaping our region, from climate change and technological disruption to demographic shifts, as we strive to create a more resilient and sustainable future.
Our journey forward is inspired by the resilience and determination of our people and our communities. With a shared vision and a dedication to our purpose, we will continue to rise above challenges, embrace opportunities and create lasting change.

Corporate sustainability reflects our collective purpose: to inspire our people to create a positive, sustainable impact on our local communities and the environment. Firmwide, our people are not just inspired by this mission — they are the driving force behind it. Their passion and dedication, along with their deep engagement in the communities where we live and work, drive us to run impactful programmes that reach beneficiaries across the region.
Building on this foundation, we aim to harness the knowledge, time and expertise of our people to actively empower communities through sustainability initiatives that are aligned with our core values. We ensure that every effort we make is both meaningful and impactful, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
This commitment extends across all areas of our work. Whether through offering pro bono services, providing educational workshops for disadvantaged youth or supporting local startups, we are united by a common goal: to build a brighter, more sustainable future. In doing so, we place a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability and humanitarian assistance as integral parts of our mission. Through volunteer-led initiatives, our employees contribute to restoring natural habitats, reducing waste, and promoting sustainable practices that not only benefit the environment but also empower communities to become more resilient. These efforts help forge stronger connections, creating a foundation for long-term, positive change.
In addition to our environmental and sustainability initiatives, we are equally committed to responding to urgent humanitarian needs, especially in times of crisis. Our partnerships with local organisations allow us to provide essential resources to vulnerable populations, ensuring they have the assistance needed for recovery and rebuilding. These actions complement our broader mission to uplift communities and create opportunities for sustainable growth and resilience in the long run.
A critical aspect of this vision is our dedication to upskilling the region's workforce, both now and in the future. Through workshops, training programmes, and mentorship, we are helping individuals and communities develop the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world. By focusing on areas like digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership, we are preparing the next generation to meet new challenges and seize emerging opportunities.
Our 2024 Impact Report showcases the progress we have made this year and reaffirms our commitment to tackling some of the region's most pressing challenges. Our work is driven by the creativity and innovation of our people, whose diverse backgrounds and experiences help us tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. It is this diversity — coupled with our unwavering commitment to sustainability — that enables us to create a safer, more equitable and resilient world for future generations.

Giving back isn’t just a responsibility; it’s essential to building a purpose-driven business. We believe that our purpose - to build trust in society and solve important problems - starts from within, empowering our people to become agents of positive change. Corporate volunteering is a key part of this mission, offering our people a meaningful way to develop, connect and give back, while positively impacting the communities we serve.
When our people dedicate their time, expertise and energy to causes that matter, they not only enrich the lives of others but also experience personal growth that reflects in their work; creating a powerful cycle of empowerment and fulfilment. I believe that such opportunities offer fresh perspectives and build essential skills, such as empathy, resilience, inclusivity, and adaptability - all foundational to becoming the kind of leaders our world needs today.
Across the Middle East, the rising culture of corporate volunteering is inspiring. The region is filled with people eager to contribute; they just need the right opportunities. By offering a range of avenues for engagement - from pro bono work to upskilling workshops - we empower our people to use their skills and talents for the greater good. In doing so, we not only support the beneficiaries of these efforts but also help our employees lead more fulfilling, balanced lives.
Ultimately, our commitment to corporate sustainability is about creating an enduring impact that goes beyond business objectives. I am proud to look back and reflect on the progress we have made this year and look forward to seeing this impact continue to extend well beyond the walls of our organisation.

While this year’s report is about our past accomplishments, it’s important to look forward to how we’ll continue to deliver on our purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems.
Looking ahead to 2025, our priority is to broaden our impact across the region and continue to do our part to help make progress and affect change when it comes to the issues that really matter. We know there are opportunities for us to do more for our communities and want to ensure our efforts are making a tangible difference.
Upskilling will continue to be a key focus, as we aim to expand our local and regional initiatives; particularly to vulnerable groups, including students in developing economies, underprivileged youth and women re-entering the workforce.
And when it comes to the environment, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that protect and preserve our planet.
Over the coming 12 months, we aim to nurture the spirit of volunteerism, offering our people the time and space to give back, lead with purpose, and cultivate partnerships with organisations that align with our values.
Together, we can make a difference.
