Ryo Sakamoto's practice covers legal services from the perspectives of Japan's Antimonopoly Act and similar competition laws of other jurisdictions in M&A, alliances and risk management including the cases where dealing with competition authorities is required. He has extensive experience in the fields of merger control regimes and cartel regulations.
Prior to joining PwC Legal Japan, he worked for a major law firm in Japan for five years, where he practiced competition laws in addition to general corporate legal matters.
