Makiko Hasuwa is primarily engaged in M&A and corporate law, group restructuring, corporate governance and compliance, ESG- and sustainability-related legal services and geopolitical risk matters, in both cross-border and domestic contexts.
Prior to joining PwC Legal Japan, she worked for one of the largest law firms in Japan as a paralegal dealing with various corporate matters, domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and corporate crisis management.
